This list will catalogue each time i come across a shrubbery, or shrubberies in a novel.
I believe there is a conspiracy, or an in-joke, amongst authors to subject us to Monty Python humour.
I'm only including new instances I come across, after repeated exposures to unexpected shrubbery, so please feel free to add your own discoveries

Elentarri Lol. Don't most books have shrubbery in them - as part of the scenery or setting? Or are you referring to animated shrubbery that plays a part in the book?

That's the point! the only place i come across shrubberies is in books. How many times do you hear that word used in day to day life?

Clare O'Beara I've added one of my books. Not a shrubbery but a couple of quotes from Life of Brian. If it doesn't suit let me know and I'll remove it.
