Share your vehement hatred for Jane Austen related adaptations/retellings that insult the integrity of the source material.

- do NOT add any books actually written by Jane Austen
- to qualify as Austen adaptation/retelling the book has to be influenced by Austen's work. Anything from modern versions of Emma, a retelling of Northanger Abbey with mermaids, or Pride and Prejudice retold from Wickham's point of view would qualify as such.
- examples of "insulting the integrity of the source material" include but are not limited to: ruining characters, bad writing, or poorly done plot lines.
