I humbly request that NO BOOKS BE ADDED TO MY ORIGINAL LIST. I kept up an Amazon Best Mystery & Thriller Books of the Month 2015 list here that became terribly corrupted with additions of titles that not only do not appear on the Amazon lists, but are not remotely plausible candidates for a Best Book of 2015. I was very disappointed personally, and as far as I could tell adding titles to lists from a specific external source, like these, isn't fun or useful for anyone. Anyway, thanks again for reading, sharing, and respecting my request.

That said, if you see an error in my transcription from the site, have any inquiries to make, or wish me to respond to some comment, I will try to attend to posts here in a timely fashion.

This list includes the fiction titles selected by Amazon's various editorial committees as a Best Book for February 2016. Default order will proceed accordingly as described below.

1) All fiction titles selected for the overall Top 10 Picks of February 2016 in the order in which they appear on Amazon, and then;

2) All selections by the Literature & Fiction Editors not already listed here, in the order they appear on the Amazon site, and then;

3) Because Mystery & Thrillers comes first in an alphabetical listing of the genre fiction categories featured on Amazon's Best Books of the Month, any and all Mystery & Thriller selections not already appearing herein will be listed in the order shown on the relevant webpage, and next;

4) Following the same alphabetical logic, all selections from the Romance Editors' Page not already included here will be listed as shown on the Amazon site, and then (as you might suppose);

5) Titles from the Science Fiction & Fantasy category not already included will be added as shown on Amazon, and finally;

6) Any and all fiction books appearing among the Young Adult Editors' Picks will be listed in the order they appear (unless that would be redundant).

I have decided not to include any Middle Grade or Children's books here based on personal whim.

Again, I will do my best to answer any questions or comments you leave here. I appreciate watching the titles move around over time, so please come back some time and re-vote your preferences!
