A list for books that are terribly awful, and thankfully hidden from the public.

I heartily disagree with your assessment of these books! It is very helpful how these stories bring to life times in history that are not as familiar to many readers. They contain three-dimensional characters, humor, and valuable messages, and more personal insights into the historical times in which they are set. Perhaps with time you may re-evaluate your perceptions. My daughters have enjoyed some of these books, as well as myself.
I can't resist asking. Is the person who wrote this list a homeschooler who hates "Sonlight"? I recognize every single one of these from the history curriculum. I agree that most of these books are the worst ones from Sonlight, and some of them are incredibly boring. But a Murder for her Majesty and The Sherwood Ring? Give me a break! :p
The Sherwood Ring? The Iron Peacock? The Ghost in Tokaido Inn??? How can anyone not like these books?!?
I agree with the comments above- I've done some of the Sonlight cores with these books. Though I haven't read all of them, some of them are my favourite books! Not going to vote for any.
I seriously agree with the comments above (especially Mommyc's (Hi mom!)). I'm currently going through Sonlight Currriculum, and most (a couple aren't) of these books are in it. I personally loved A Murder for Her Majesty and The Sherwood Ring. And I liked/really liked most of the other ones (I haven't read some of them). I really don't understand why someone would make this kind of list with these books. It doesn't make sense.
