Tips for a Borges Lover (19 books)

As a somewhat latecomer to the work of Borges, I've created this list to find authors that share some of the aspects that attracts me in Borges: the magic realism, the clear dense prose, literary references, the metafictional elements, the historical settings, the use of themes/metaphors like labyrinths, libraries etc.

I've started with some of the authors I like and that for me have an approach to writing similar to Borges: Eco, Calvino, Marquez etc.
