c i think knowing that Other People are Not Like You is important, and knowing successful experiences of People Like You.
Suggestions? I thought Neurotribes by Steve Silberman was pretty good for the former...

c when i first got out of school, i did a workbook on resume writing and interviewing. it was very helpful to me during my corporate career. there are a million resume / interviewing books out there, but i have no personal experience with any of them.

Blair This is a great idea and a great list! I'd add something on managing stress and on being present/mindfulness. There are a lot of good books out there for both subjects. A few I'd recommend are: The Mindfulness Solution: Everyday Practices for Everyday Problems by Ronald Siegel, Fully Present: The Science, Art, and Practice of Mindfulness by Smalley and Winston, Hardcore Self Help: F**k Anxiety by Robert Duff, and The Anxiety & Phobia Workbook by Edmund Bourne.
