I think Evanovich's newest book, Plum Spooky, is the best of her inferior in-between books. It has a terrible plot, but some cute dialog.

I've been debating whether or not to try that one. Only Grandma Mazur and Lula got me through Plum Lovin' - I don't usually finish books that are that bad.

It has monkeys, which made me think it was going to be unreadable, but it wasn't too bad.
