What age group are you looking for in terms of a gift? I'm happy to see what I can find.

Six year olds! One is male who likes unicorns, and then I also have another girl that age who is into fairies/unicorns/KPop Demon Hunters/glitter in general who I thought might like a "Ready to Read" or "Step Into Reading" book set along that theme, but I think My Little Pony is no longer cool... I personally don't really like Uni the Unicorn, but that seems to be the only option. Boys this age are (usually) easy - Minecraft and Lego have early readers! :p

I appreciate any help, but please don't work too hard on it - I like to give books because I LIKE BOOKS (a lot!), but I'm not convinced the kids get very excited (I always get them a toy as well, so they aren't disappointed). But I like to sneak in a book wherever possible. >:) Diabolical.

Haha, I've always done the same thing. I love to give books as gifts.

Can't vouch for quality, but more for the boy + unicorn pile!

No problemo! You Don't Want a Unicorn! is probably zany enough to appeal to a 6 year old boy. There are read alouds on YouTube, too, if you want to preview it.
