Jane Hmm, rather enjoyed Becoming Marie Antoinette.

Misfit I have issues with Leslie Carroll, and that is who Juliet Grey is. From some of the snivels I've seen at FB and friends who gang up on critical reviewers/commenters I'm guessing she hasn't learned her lesson yet. http://dearauthor.com/book-reviews/to...

Jane Hoo boy, one of those. But the book wasn't too bad.

message 4: by Misfit (new)

Misfit Perhaps not. But I've had enough from her that I don't want to go near anything she's involved in. Geez, I was accused of yakking up the comments on a critical review of one of her Amanda Elyot titles when I hadn't been there in a year. It was all Karla and Dawn (and Ron).

Rebecca Huston Yeah, LC/JG is one of those authors I wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole. Authors with bad attitudes turn me right off of their books, and this particular one even more so.

Jane What a shame - her writing's not too bad, but her attitude is obviously going to hold her back. I'm glad that as a reviewer I'm low-profile enough that nobody's had a go at me yet - it's one of the reasons I stay off Amazon. I don't need the aggro.

Rebecca Huston It's part of the reason why I stopped cross posting there, every now and then I'll put one up that I feel strongly about.

Tracey I was wondering why this book was on here; good to know. Forwarned and all that. I kind of liked the book too, but Drama-prone authors are to be avoided.
