Achtung Baby
by
"I admire Catanzarite's courage with this very risky book. What's baffling and beautiful is that it's about Achtung Baby, and NOT about Achtung Baby. There are no behind-the-scenes stories, no discussion of lyrics, and no concrete discussions about the songs. What it is, is an abstract, a well-thought out interpretation of the concept behind the album's songs…The author skips the surface stuff, and dives way down into the depths of what the overall grand scheme could very well be…

Harvest
by
"Y'know, this isn't that good a book, and I don't think Sam Inglis even likes Neil Young's Harvest album. Yet the book got me thinking, and inspired me to re-examine not only Harvest, but all of Neil Young's music. For that alone, I am thankful. "
