More Than Words, Volume 2: What Amanda Wants / The Yellow Ribbon / The Way Home / Shelter from the Storm / Into the Groove
by
"This is a book of 5 short stories written by top Romance writers about real women who have done extraordinary things in their community. Debbie Macomber wrote "What Amanda Wants" about a teenager that is a senior in high school when her cancer comes back. It talks about the unique challenges a teenager dealing with cancer deals with like the lose of friends and boyfriends and hospitals being more geared to little kids than teens. This story ties in with the Blossom Street series right after "A Good Yarn" and has some of the same characters introduced in that book. I liked all of the stories but really loved "What Amanda Wants"."

Susannah's Garden (Blossom Street, #3)
by
"This book, which is actually #3 in the series, comes after A Good Yarn or What Amanda Wants but takes you away from Blossom Street with Susannah as she heads back to her home town to take care of her Mother. While there she finds out that her father had some secret's he'd kept from her and her daughter makes a surprise appearance saying she could help with her grandmother but ends up running around with a wild boy in town. Susannah is dealing with a lot of difficult things - the recent loss of her father, taking care of her ailing mother and getting her moved into a nursing home, finding out what happened to her high school boyfriend who suddenly disappeared while she was in France at the same time her brother was killed in a tragic accident, marital problems, and worrying about the choices her barely adult daughter is making. I read this book twice. It is such a great story and I can really relate to it. A lot of people have complained about this book because it doesn't seem to have anything to do with blossom street but it does tie in eventually."

Christmas Letters (Blossom Street, #3.5)
by
"This book ties in with the blossom street story after Susannah's Garden. It is a quick, light read and you learn a little something about Alex Townsend towards the end. It is my least favorite book by Debbie Macomber though. It is a romantic comedy and the only one I've read. I didn't think the book was realistic at all. "

Twenty Wishes (Blossom Street #5)
by
"This book comes after Back on Blossom Street I love it even more than Susanna's Garden. It is about a group of widows that met at a book club and quickly came together to support each other. They are not all older women and some lost their husbands in an accident. These women got together to support each other on valentine's day which is a difficult day for widows. They decide to start making a list of twenty wishes which helps them to start looking forward to the future instead of dwelling on the past. This book is wonderful!! I'm going to buy a nice hard back for my permanent collection."
