Gone with the Wind
by
"This exceptional story, which I have reread many times, has started me on a lifelong interest in the American Civil War. It's a great story on so many levels, with such an intriguing cast of characters and their adjustments to monumental change. And, of course, a time and place in history whose story needed telling. So splendidly written that its little wonder Margaret Mitchell never seemed to need to write another book."

Pride and Prejudice

"I reread this book every few years and with each reading I enjoy it from a different perspective. Her books really hook women of many times and generations because of her insight and observations about people and their interactions. They really don't change much. I am just a Jane Austin fan."
