"Primed is my debut novel, a brilliant and original science fiction thriller featuring a strong female main character, strong female secondary characters and strong female protagonists. There are also strong male characters - I aimed for a good balance between the genders, and avoided making any issue of the fact that women are equally capable, powerful and skillful. I have three daughters, and I hope there are more books like these listed as they grow up."
