To Have and to Hold: A Tale of Providence and Perseverance in Colonial Jamestown
by
"I read this as a teen and loved it. I haven't read it all since, just pieces of it and it still holds my attention whenever I do. It is one of the first more adult books I read and it will always hold a special place in my reading history."

Back Roads (Glen Crossing #1)

"I read this book about a week ago, and I can readily understand why it won that year's RITA award. It's just so different from most other books. I'm not surprised at her present hit (2013) and am very eager to read it."

The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie (Mackenzies & McBrides, #1)
by
"I loved reading this book about Lord Ian who is quite different from what we would call "a desirable man." After all, he's often deeply disturbed, though he is also brilliant. Yet there was so much to admire and love about him, that it just took a discerning woman to love him, as did I and, I'm sure, a lot of other readers."
