American Brutus: John Wilkes Booth and the Lincoln Conspiracies, the highly-acclaimed book by Michael Kauffman, should be on the list. Mr. Kauffman's more than 35 years of extensive research resulted in this excellent book. For 25 years, he was the historian accompanying the John Wilkes Booth escape route tour. The depth of his knowledge is amazing.
