I'm so curious - did you find this list because I created it, or is goodreads just a small world?

You created it??!! I had no idea. Small world, indeed. Awesome list, by the way, I couldn't resist throwing the History of Love in there.

Looking more closely, I see now that you and several of my other friends have voted on this list, which is probably why Goodreads thought I would be interested. So indirectly, it may be because you started it ... sneaky.

I thought it might be something like that. You know the history of love is what inspired me to start this list in the first place! It makes me cranky how all the lists tend to turn into identical best seller lists. But on the plus side it did convince me to read a couple books I was resisting (Guernsey, Shadows of the Wind).

Also, what is "Never Let Me Go" doing on the list? It's a great book, but has nothing to do with books. Noth-ing. Maybe someone thought "Stories for Book Lovers" meant "generally decent books"?

Like how "Their Eyes Were Watching God" is on the Memoirs By Women list? Argh, it's my pet-peeve for mis-shelved books, but ONLINE, and thus worse.
