Thanks for adding the Exorcist. I know about that one but scared silly of it. I know I cannot read it or ever see the movie!

I watched the movie and found it more disturbing than frightening. I find books about any kind of violence or abuse around children very difficult and usually avoid them.

I had a friend who let her teenage daughter see the movie and that poor girl had nightmares for a week. She had the kind where you scream! I knew it was "not for me". I also get very upset about any abuse of children which is another reason you do not want to read The Lovely Bones. I love your landscape. I meant to tell you last night.
