Stray (Touchstone, #1)
by
"There is certainly some epicness in this series. The main character develops her powers and does awesome stuff with them, especially in the last book.

It's not a very funny book, but there is some humor and it has a lighter mood as the heroine has quite a positive attitude. The romance is perfect. Not too much, not too little, just the right amount and perfectly blended with the rest of the story." See Review |

His Majesty's Dragon (Temeraire, #1)
by
"The feeling of epicness in this book starts from the very beginning when Temeraire hatches. Even though there is nothing specifically epic about it, it feels like it because it's a dragon after all, and the possibilities are endless. Although, i'ma a bit sad about all the misfortunes they encounter later in the series. It seems like luck is rarely on their side.

The book has it's funny moments, more so in the beginning when Temeraire is still young and stupid, asking funny questions. There is a lack of romance, but the connection between a dragon and his captain makes up for it." See Review |

Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1)
by
"As humans are such weaklings in this book, i consider it quite epic that the main character can stand up for herself against angels. Specifically, i like it that she's able to wield her sword.

There are quite many funny moments in this book. I found myself giggling hysterically, as the mood of the book seemed too dark to allow proper laughing. I'm not sure if the romance in this book WAS in fact romance, but it was just the right amount of romantic for me." See Review |

Pretties (Uglies, #2)
by
"I like how the main character overcomes mental obstacles in this book. I don't want to say any more not to spoil it.

I don't remember the book being very funny, but it was at least light spirited at times. There was plenty of romance, but that wasn't the focus. The depth of the connection wasn't revealed (to me) before the next book in this series." See Review |

Demons at Deadnight (Divinicus Nex Chronicles, #1)
by
"Hilarious. There were many moments i was laughing out loud.

There was also a lot of romance, maybe even a bit too much for my tastes. But it was fun, not too serious. Definitely some potential for epicness later in the series. Can't wait to read the next book." See Review |
