I should read it too. I only saw the movie from 1955 with a young Sidney Poitier.

I believe its the same for me. Sometimes I have seen a movie long ago and then I think I have read the book too! I have no desire to read the book since I tried to teach in a city school and it was the pits. I will be interested to hear what you think about it.
