Cathie I've been in love with Ray Bradbury for years. In fact, ever since I was about eight. That's when I first read his short stories, such as "All Summer in a Day," my first and most favorite of these. I became a fan of his elaborately visual, colorful, sensual descriptions that appeal to the eye and the mind, opening up worlds to me when I was impressionable and making me stretch my imagination to the point of imagining life on Venus! Since that time, I've remained enamored with Mr. Bradbury and his works, each one more phenomenal than the last. His stories, laid on the foundation of Wells and Verne, have built a platform for all that have come since and will come in the future to base their writing styles upon.
