One of the Best fantasy books I have read in years. The main character is tough, sexy and smart. He uses his position as a noble to confront the homophobia of his society. He is unashamed of his sexuality, which I loved. The book is complex and unpredictable. The next two in the trilogy are not nearly as good, but its ok because the book stands on its own as an independent novel.
