Leajk I haven't heard about Gwynedd Rae before, where is she from? (I'm afraid this book is about writers who don't have English as their first language.)

Clare O'Beara While I am not sure where Gwynedd Rae is from, the books about Mary Plain are about a bear in a pit in Berne, Switzerland. I read one growing up and it seems likely that the author is native to that country. I don't have any more information at present.

I am also hoping to check if all the authors I posted are female as I am not sure if Frederique and Katri are feminine names.

Clare O'Beara I have found some very interesting information about Gwynedd Rae who it transpires was English. So I will remove her from the list.
