``Laurie Tweety, I once saw parts of the movie Black Beauty while busy doing other things about the house; but when I saw the last part about Ginger I felt physically ill and started bawling. I want to read the book but I don't think I can handle all the abuse those horses suffered.

Tweety Just how I feel, I don't know why I keep the book. It's the worst on this list. I really can't say I enjoyed it at all. But, it is engaging, just it makes one feel awful.

``Laurie No doubt the book version would have been much worse that the movie as far as being emotionally traumatized by all the abuse the horses suffered. But his book definitely belongs on this list.

Tweety Yes it does, though I think it's the kind you shed more than a 'few' tears.

``Laurie So true unfortunately.
