Bettie I slurped a couple of his off Gutenberg last week which I haven't got around to yet, so still a Dunsany virgin for the moment.

:O)

Themis-Athena (Lioness at Large) Start with the two I've put on top of this list ... :)

Bettie The elfland one does look enticing - thanks

Themis-Athena (Lioness at Large) I knew you'd say that! :)

There's some really weird stuff in the second one, too, though ... such as "The Queen's Enemies" -- Dunsany's take on female pharaoh Nitocris's (alleged) revenge on her enemies, drowning them all in a subterranean banquet hall!!

hahahaha - that sounds great fun. In Huntingtower I've just got to the bit where there will be battle with bolshevik pirates trying to kidnap the princess from the tower. Corking good fun!

Themis-Athena (Lioness at Large) Bolshevik pirates -- what a concept, eh? :)

Sounds like the King of oxymorons.

Themis-Athena (Lioness at Large) Or Robin Hood for the early 20th century?
