"Book 4 - which I waited forever to get was a very good book. It was rumored that there was treasure buried at a local farm but Sarah didn't believe it. They lived like they were poor so she figured if they needed the money they would dig up the treasure. At an auction she picked up a box of old, faded quilts to restore but a couple showed up claiming they were heirs and insisted the auction be stopped. They were looking for a valuable heirloom but were very vague in describing it. "

"Book 5 - In this story Sarah find out that a treasured family heirloom quilt has disappeared from the attic and at the same times discovers that her boarder, Belle, has suddenly moved out. Did she steal the quilt and if so why? Sarah sets out to try to find Belle and find out what happened to the quilt. "

"Book 6 - I love mysteries, especially mysteries that involve looking into the past. In this story Sarah, who is good at quilting and solving mysteries meets a new resident at the nursing home where her father stays. He tells her about a picture he carries of his high school sweetheart that he never saw again. Sarah takes on the task of finding out if she is still alive but the more she looks the more questions she has.

I thought this book was "ok." I quickly figured things out well ahead and that took the fun out of it for me. This book was a quick read but not one of those "can't put down" stories. The book uses very simplistic language but also doesn't contain any cursing."

"Book 7 - This book was like a Sherlock Holmes or Agatha Christie story where Sarah and her grand daughters go on a trip to CT and stay at a historic Inn. In the morning they wake to a scream and discover the parlor had been ransacked and there is blood on the floor. The Inn Keepers is also missing and a snow storm has trapped them all in. They quickly realize that the guilty party has to be one of them. -- Kristin Eckhardt is also the author of the first book, Family Patterns, which I really enjoyed. This book was full of action and I read it really fast. "

"Book 8 - This is a book about a quilt that was found behind a false wall in a basement. The owners grandmother always said she believed her house was a route on the underground railroad and believed the quilt was part of the quilt code. She only let Sarah get a quick look at it before she had to leave on a trip. Sarah returns to find the town all excited about the quilt and plans underway to turn the house into a museum for the underground railroad and a fundraiser underway. When the owner of the house and the funds for the exhibit suddenly disappear Sarah is asked to verify the validity of the quilt but she also wants to find it's owner and clear her name. "
