"Ugh. Wish I never had so many of the mental images from this book. (Spoilers!) Dwarves thrown from train trestles, horses fed to lions. Just because I'm a veterinarian doesn't mean I like books about drop out veterinarians! And that they're making a movie about it....I can't speak. "
