"This really is a moving book. After the first couple of pages, I grabbed a box of Kleenex, and by the time I'd finished the book, the box of Kleenex was empty. It's not what I'd call a "sad" story; it's actually a very uplifting book. It does have moments of great sadness in it, but it also has a certain "lightness" and laughter. Its characters ring true and and, at times, are pretty funny. Overall, I found reading it to be a very cathartic experience because it touches on so many things we all struggle with as we age - on so many levels. If you've ever loved deeply, or lost a parent little-by-little to Alzheimer's, or just wanted to find your way "home," this is the book to read."
