This list reminded me how my history teacher said for summer break she would read the text book we read in class at the beach. I'm actually tempted to put it on here. LOL
I voted for Twilight only because if I have it by the pool or beach, I could drop it in. >:3 Of course, the bad writing might kill anyone or anything in the water.

Twilight. For the beach. WHY? That's just so not suits the beach, 'cause it's like kinda dark.. For a beach day you need something girlish (if I am not wring, girls mostly takes books to the beach, right?) and light... Think twice before u vote, because not every good book is "perfect" for the beach... Pay attention, readers :)btw, nice list. Cool idea. I'll be glad to see your votes on my list titles "Liked", it's books for flight.. XD

Thanks you for the support, Sofia ! If you like a chick lit and read at the beach, as long as no volleyball bump your head or kids splash at you - you might feel very comfortable reading The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants or Summer Sisters. I hope you will like those, since the summer is already here (:

Hi. My books Farsighted got added to this list but doesn't fit the criteria. Please feel free to remove my novel. Thanks :-)
Does ANYONE know the title of the book about a twenty something girl that "shares" a rental with kinda stranger.... the summer rental was on the hamptons... trying to remember the name- its making me nuts!
People seem to have some funny ideas about the term 'Chick Lit', as Pride and Prejudice definitely isn't chick lit, yet 107 people voted for it. Odd....
Susanna - Censored by GoodReads wrote: "The Scarlet Letter?!?"Yeah, I know... Like I said earlier, people seem to have some funny ideas about the term 'chick lit'...
