Holy crap! It looks like my prayers were heard! The Taiwanese publisher (who published the editions I've read of the first 7 books) just picked back up this series after hearing nothing from them for 5 years! V.8, was out, and months later V.9, so I can only hope they'd continue.

Obviously I'm hoping that book 10 and the upcoming #11, and however many books there are to go, could eventually be all translated as well."

"I will FOREVER regret not having bought the Japanese edition when it was largely available. True, it was effing expensive back then, but at least I'd have it new; now if I buy it it'd be USED AND EXPENSIVE.

"I'm upset that while this book is in fact translated into the language I prefer, it is for a different region, by a different publisher, that very possibly have slight differences in translation when it comes to character names and lingo.

I'm even more upset that the Taiwanese publisher (who published the entire series (31 volumes) I've read and OWN, refuse to pull their heads out of their *** and give a direct answer as to why they weren't doing it, when this series probably was one of the reason that kept their business going.)

"This book has in fact been translated to the language I prefer (traditional Chinese,) unfortunately, it was for an edition of a different format (that does not match the rest of the series,) AND has been out of print for ages. Same goes to books #2-3. I know the likelihood of the new publisher (who did thankfully published all books #4-9) to go back publishing #1-3 to complete the set is pretty much nonexistent, but one can dream."
