I enjoyed The Dry. Think I may read the other book in the series.

I was dying to know who murdered Luke and his wife and child and I would never have guessed in a million years. I did get an idea about the girl who drowned. I am not feeling real well so that might be a factor in my not liking it so much. At least it was exciting. He was too good. I talked to Victor about it and he said Joe Pickett is too good but I don't think that. I think that Joe is sometimes just a little dumb. I think that Aaron Falk was just a little too good.
I think of Joe like a Boy Scout. I don't think he is as goofy as he used to be. Is C.J. Box going to write any more? Did I ever suggest to you the Cork O'Connor Series by Wm. Kent Krueger. Awesome series. Seems to get better each book.
You are right as he is like a Boy Scout. I sure hope that Box is going to continue to write about him. No, you haven't suggested Cork O'Connor to me so please recommend the best one to me. I hope to get to the library tomorrow as I am out of most library books. I may have to start 61 Hours tonight.
Iron Lake (Cork O'Connor, #1) by Krueger, William Kent is the first book in the series. I have slowly been reading the series for years. If I remember correctly, I liked the series, but further in, when he gets more into Cork's Native American heritage, I REALLY start loving it.
Will see if I can find. Maybe I should read them out of order? Does it matter? Last nightGoodbye to a River: A Narrative turned to a book about horror. I don't know if I dare read anymore of it. It was good up to about page 141.
