That happens to me also. Last night I found an ancient email from a friend in college that I had somehow missed so I called him to apologize. Since his wife died he is very lonely but he told me still recovering from caring for her the last few years as she was unable to walk.

My mother in law died last year. I think my father in law is still recovering. (plus he got covid right when she died)

I didn't remember that. I was thinking you got covid at his funeral so I am confused. His immune system went down which is normal when a spouse dies.

I am still arguing with JJ about covid. It is so boring. I hope to forget about it all soon. My two friends who have Environmental Illness are still scared and quaking in their boots! They haven't had it or been vaccinated. I think the worst is over now. I did lose 3 relatives.

She died in hospice. I think that is where he picked it up. Then his youngest son visited him and brought it to everyone here in MN.

Sorry for all your losses. I hope things get better for everyone, soon. I keep thinking of the Spanish Flu that was 100 years ago.

That is very sad. I remember when you had it. I guess it was December or January? I had it in August 2021. It wasn't as bad as the Spanish Flu per The Great Influenza: The Story of the Deadliest Pandemic in History which I found somewhere second hand and have read twice! My grandfather survived that out on a troop ship in the Atlantic where they had to throw bodies overboard!

I am sorry for your losses too. The hardest one for me was my sister Linda. Laurie had died the year before!
