""I'm reading '1984'" George Orwell " . I should have done this a long time ago, but every time I took it, I only managed to read a few pages, and then something distracted me... All this is very close to the time in which we now live. I think this is a very good book" (2008).

“There’s a song of the same name on The Resistance, and I’m singing on behalf of the character. I imagined myself as that strange guy, Winston, from the book 1984, who fell in love with a girl and had violent sex with her."

"“At that time I was reading Hyperspace. This is one of those books that talks about superstring theory, which combines quantum physics and Einstein’s general theory of relativity and claims to be a comprehensive universal theory, which is a kind of holy grail for physicists. These ideas fascinated me. The book raises the question of why everything in the universe is in such an amazing balance, and what is the source of symmetry."

"“Cave” came to me after reading the crappy American book Men from Mars, Women from Venus. (by John Gray). It is that men, when they are in a stressful state or depression, withdraw into themselves, go to the “cave”.
