do you recommend reading the prey series in order?

I do recommend it, but it's not a neccesity as they all do well as a stand alone boook. Like any series, it's nice to have the background of knowing "who's who" and what part they have played in a series. My favorite part(probably) of the entire series has been watching the evolution of Lucas. It has been a fun ride, and they are pretty quick reads and very hard to put down, if this is your type of book, so it won't take you long to tear through them. ENJOY--I envy you getting to start from the beginning and go through this for the first time.

I just finished 'Rules of Prey' and I am starting 'Silent Prey'. I also picked Hidden and Naked up at the library on a clearance sale. Which is your favorite of the series?

"Naked" is great, probably in my top 5, along with "Winter", "Broken", "Eyes" and "Sudden", with "Winter" being my favorite.
