Cole I see you read Twilight as well.

message 2: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Yep I personally love it!

message 3: by Cole (new)

Cole Ya I like the story line but didn't enjoy the writing. So which are you a Edward or Jacob fan?

message 4: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Edward all the way. I hate how the movies portray him though, cuz they make him out to be a controlling jerk of a boyfriend, whereas in the book you get a better picture of who he is and what he would do to keep Bella safe. What are you?

message 5: by Cole (new)

Cole I agree on the movie aspect. As for me I am the opposite, I am a Jacob fan. I know he was a jerk in the book sometimes but... Anyway, if I was Bella I would have a hard time deciding for sure.

message 6: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Really? I'm always fascinated with why people choose the opposite of what I chose. What is it about Jacob that has you choosing him?

message 7: by Jessica (new)

Jessica But I agree, I think both in the end are really great guys and I could have seen her choosing either one of them. But I am glad she chooses Edward in the end.

message 8: by Cole (new)

Cole I think how the author handled Jacob was ingenious, even if I didn't like it. And I am not sure, I just always looked forward to Jacob's role in the books more.

message 9: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Hmmm that's interesting.

message 10: by Cole (new)

Cole Sorry I can't pinpoint a reason. Oh well. What do you like about Edward so much?

message 11: by Jessica (new)

Jessica I don't know I can't really pinpoint a reason either, I just really enjoyed his character. Have you read midnight sun? Cuz you really get to see inside Edwards head and see how he really feels, what He thinks, and why he acts the way he does. It was fun to see it through his eyes instead of Bella. You gain a lot more respect for him through reading it.

message 12: by Cole (new)

Cole No I haven't, I haven't gotten the chance. I would love to though, honestly I was getting sick of Bella after a while there. And did you read that little book about the girl... i can't remember her name but she got turned into a vampire for the attack on the Colleens.

message 13: by Jessica (new)

Jessica I've started it a while ago, but haven't finished it yet. I got too distracted by other books.

message 14: by Cole (new)

Cole Oh, that happens to me all the time. Bad habit.

message 15: by Jessica (new)

Jessica lol ya, I will finish, I just have to get around to it.

message 16: by Cole (new)

Cole You know I have always wondered about the Seven Kingdoms. What can you tell me about it? And I need to read the Hunger Games before the movie comes out. So many books to read so little time.

message 17: by Cole (new)

Cole I got this pile of like 20 to 30 books in my closet waiting to be read.

message 18: by Jessica (new)

Jessica I know that's how I feel. I've only read the first book in the Seven Kingdoms and I loved it! The main character kicks butt! There were a few dull moments, but I think it makes up for it with the action. And I loved the first two books of the Hunger Games series but hated the third. But that's a huge topic of debate. from what I've heard either you love it, or you hate it. So because of it I have a hard time recommending it to others without warning them about the third book. But I would still read them if I were you cuz the Hunger Games is seriously Amazing. It would have been my favorite series if it hadn't of been for the last book.

message 19: by Cole (new)

Cole All right, thanks. You seem to like action a lot?

message 20: by Cole (new)

Cole Oh, I would also like to recommend the Wolf series by Jane Linkskold. One of my favorites!

message 21: by Cole (new)

Cole Also, The Tale Of Lanen Kaelar by Elizabeth Kearner. Good romance. It might look weird and has a slow start but don't judge it too soon.

message 22: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Wow That Wolf series sounds really good!

message 23: by Cole (new)

Cole It is! Very, very, very good. I loved everything about it. You should read it!

message 24: by Jessica (new)

Jessica I've put it down on my TBR list.

message 25: by Cole (new)

Cole Cool! Let me know when you start.

message 26: by Jessica (new)

Jessica I will for sure.

message 27: by Cole (new)

Cole Lets see what else, there is the Age of Fire series by E. E. Knight. About three dragon brothers and sisters finding there way in the world. Very touching. And then Collegium Chronicles by Mercedes Lackey. it is placed in the Vladimar world, don't know if you have heard of it. It is about a orphan boy and a horse Companion. More political intrigue in this one.

message 28: by Cole (new)

Cole Wow, you have a big to-read pile there.

message 29: by Cole (new)

Cole I am signing off now, hope to talk to you soon. Thanks you for the stimulating conversation, I get excited when it comes to books. I am really animated about it.

message 30: by Cole (new)

Cole Hold on, I am back on. Here is something weird. Tiger's Voyage came out just yesturday right, but I got mine a couple of weeks ago.

message 31: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Cole wrote: "Hold on, I am back on. Here is something weird. Tiger's Voyage came out just yesturday right, but I got mine a couple of weeks ago."

I know I have a way big to-read list. No way you got your copy a couple of weeks ago? That's awesome! I know I love to talk about books to, but most of my friends don't read all that much so I can't really talk to them about it. It's always fun finding someone who loves to talk about books.

message 32: by Cole (new)

Cole Hahahaha, ya! I know what you mean, my girlfriend likes to read but that is about it. Guess I am lucky for that much. And ya, it just showed up i the mail, I was like so excited. I thought that I would be like the first one to read it! I think it was a mistake. Hey, another question; do you have a kindle or an nook by any chance.

message 33: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Yes I do.

message 34: by Jessica (new)

Jessica what kind of books is your girlfriend into?

message 35: by Cole (new)

Cole Which one? I got a kindle and I was wondering which one you thought was better? And she likes Mystery, Politics, Fantasy, Thriller, and sometimes Romance. To be honest, i like romance better than she does. Pretty sad huh? Hahahahaha!

message 36: by Jessica (new)

Jessica haha that's pretty funny and awesome. I have a Kindle and I've never used a Nook before, so I can't really answer that question.

message 37: by Cole (new)

Cole Hahahaha! Ya, I think it is because Romance is getting pretty repetitive and cheesy. Anyway, that's all right she has a nook and I have a kindle, we get into fights all the time which is better. Hahahahaha!

message 38: by Cole (new)

Cole But for some reason, sometimes I want a cheesy Romance to sit down and cuddle up with, you know?

message 39: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Man I totally know what your talking about. Sometimes it's nice to have a nice cheesy romance right there just waiting for you. But that's funny I don't think I've ever seen anyone with a nook before so can't even tell you what I might think is better.

message 40: by Cole (new)

Cole Huh, do you like buying the book, with the paper and all that, or is buying it on ebook okay?

message 41: by Jessica (new)

Jessica I can't decide. I like having the actual physical book, but some ebooks are just so much cheaper to buy.

message 42: by Cole (new)

Cole I like the physical.

message 43: by Jessica (new)

Jessica ya I think I mostly do too, but I love how you can look up a word you don't know on your kindle, I think it's very nifty.

message 44: by Cole (new)

Cole Yes, I have used it many times!

message 45: by Cole (new)

Cole Hey what do you think of The Gathering?

message 46: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Me too! I thought The Gathering was good, I think her other series the darkest power series was better, but I'm excited cuz in the third book of The Gathering is going to bring the characters from the darkest power series into it!

message 47: by Cole (new)

Cole Sounds interesting.

message 48: by Cole (new)

Cole So the 4th movie of Twilight is coming out.

message 49: by Jessica (new)

Jessica It's a very good series!
I know I'm so excited!!! I have a feeling that a few of the scenes are going to make me blush though. Haha. But I'm still excited to see how they do making Renesme (or however you spell it) and how they portray Jacob inprinting on her. I hope they do a good job with it. Hopefully not another Twilight rerun.

message 50: by Cole (new)

Cole Ya, I saw the trailer and it made me want to see it. Even though I am not a big fan of the movies, see all of them though.
