As a huge Meg Rosoff fan, I'll be reading Just in Case anyway, but if you haven't explored the work of this fantastic National Book Award winner? You need to do so! I've read the historical fiction - Bride's Farewell, How I Live Now - an alternative future, and Picture Me Gone, which is a contemporary coming of age mystery with a father/daughter vacation in New England. To set the tension in this quiet award winning book she removed quotation marks. It is unique and it works. An author with great versatility.
