I had Warded Man at first but then I remembered that it is only available in hardback right now so I thought that might limit how many people will be willing to read it.

I voted for the Name of the Wind mostly because of my association with the author, and I think he handled his main charachter very well. He also had a good use of telling back story. I mean the book is basically all back story for the trilogy. Also the next book has been sent to the editor, so hopefully it will be out soon.
