Post-apocalyptic. Example would be Lucifer's Hammer by Larry Niven & Jerry Pournelle. Authors like Jerry Ahern, James Axler, Pat Frank and William W. Johnstone.

Of course! I forgot that one. It's now added it to the list.

Don't understand how this works. I can only choose ONE option? Which could be "EVERYTHING"… But what if I like everything except Horror (and Amish Space Vampires, of course)?

I had intended originally to have us select all the ones we like, but I can't get the settings to do that. It will only allow one choice. I suppose it might have to be the best answer or absolute favorite one. I don't care for horror either, but everything was the best choice for me.

Thanks! I added Dystopian to the list since it wasn't there. It certainly would be easier if I could make this poll allow us to vote for multiple choices, but adding this feedback helps.

OK, I thought that might be it. Then I'll just list mine, 'cos I honestly can't pick only one!
All kinds of fantasy, SF hard and soft, Space Opera, Thriller, Post-Apocalyptic, Alternate History, Dystopian… plus possible others that haven't been listed yet!

Super! Life would be very boring if we built too many fences around what we are willing to read.

So sorry. I totally agree!

I just clicked on my favorite, though I probably don't read it as the highest quantity due to availability. Viva Cyber Punk!
I chose thriller, meaning adventure, which really includes anything with a good plot and storyline. I hope this poll isnt meant to narrow any genres included in this group?

I don't intend to narrow our scope, but to expand a bit. I tend to focus on fantasy and fairytale in my reading and writing, so that is what I often post about. I am using this poll to try and think outside of my rut.
