A vote to keep Reservoir 13 viable as our selection, in part because I'm interested in the contrast the conversation would provide with my friend's debut A Matter of Chance, a story of what does a single professional young mother do with her life as she continues year-after-year to seek her kidnapped child, in part, to contrast with books like
Songs for the Missing
and The Lovely Bones, as well as the divisive The Light Between Oceans. Each not a bad summer beach read, albeit not for all interests. Still, sometimes instructive to step into such worlds?
