I love Samantha Power's book -- bought a copy of it, actually, despite being picky about buying books -- but I'd never heard of Richard Hofstadter's book, which seems very pertinent even in today's political atmosphere, so I'm looking forward to reading it.

Looks like I’ll be reading The Haunted Land solo. If anyone wants to join me, I plan on reading in late Nov/Dec.
This is a fine list of nominations. I haven't read any of them and all sound interesting.

Many of them come in the audio format so it looks like I will be joining this one. Looking forward to November.

Isn’t that always a problem for all of us? I’m penciling it for after Thanksgiving but aiming for December 1. Hopefully you can join me.
