I force myself to wait until the next day because I hate marking a book as “currently reading” in the middle of the day on good reads because it adds a day to how long it took me to read the book but since I didn’t have a full day to read I don’t think it’s particularly fair haha.

Tbh it depends, sometimes I won't touch another book until the next day or for days and sometimes I start a new one right away.

Depends on how the book has made me feel and if I need time to reflect on the damage its made haha. I waited a day after reading "how it feels to float" so I had time to process what I just read.

depends on how emotional i get. i didn't read for a week or two after reading ouabh
