I wouldn't say archeology is a favorite "genre" but I like to keep up with finds, and there are a few sites in particular that are favorites.
I have worked on-site though! I studied archeology in undergrad and did a dig one summer.

I think I would enjoy Archaeology novels. I'd wanted to be an archaeologist years ago, and still am interested in reading about it.

Mine are historical fiction; memoir; mystery/murder mystery; some history.

i gravitate around themes and tropes more than genres and i'm really inconsistent and moody about them, so more often than not i find myself reading totally different books

Fantasy-including Mythology & Mystery/Thriller are some of my favorite genres. But I will read from different genres except Sci-Fi that is not my jam. Honestly I’m not into most of the genres that you prefer except Mythology. But I think that’s awesome that you love them!
