I'm reading El Niño now and would love to hear what other people think about it. But I also would love to read death in the jungle. Regardless of whether I add it to our Elementary library or not.



I find it frustrating. There is no way I could put Death in the Jungle in elementary. I love Candace Fleming and hope she gets a nod, but I want a younger audience book, so my students can relish in the Newbery in January.
