PatF Floyd I voted for A Man Lay Dead as a better representative of Marsh's work than the books listed for the other traditional writers are of theirs. The Kate Atkinson sounds interesting. Maron would present variety, and Maisie Dobbs is the place to start for anyone who hasn't read this series. I would not read Midnight Riot.

I think I had "A Man Lay Dead" already on the list, Pat. I'll keep that in mind when I tally!
