I voted for The Shining Girls (as I haven't read it yet), but Night Film is also terrific. One of my favorite reads of last year.

Come on Watchers!!! Been a while since I read it. Don't really want to get into a The Stand kinda book right now.
I almost chose Wool by Hugh Howey because I'd be insanely interested to find out what he thought of it, but then I saw Oryx and Crake.
It'd be absolutely evil to not choose Oryx and Crake. Any person who has not read Oryx and Crake is suffering through a poorer life than they should be living. Read Oryx and Crake.
