I am wondering if you will try getting Eragon the movie remade at any point? I absolutely ADORE the inheritance cycle, and if it is done right I know that it would be a huge hit at the box office!! Inheritance cycle is my forever favorite!! I still have not found a book that can beat it!

Like you, I would love to see the Inheritance Cycle rebooted on the big or small screen! The rights to do so are owned by 20th Century Fox and, unfortunately, they don't currently have plans to make another Eragon movie. If and when that changes, I'll definitely let everyone know. In the meantime, you can write an email requesting another Eragon movie or television show, address it to Fox’s new CEO/chairman Stacey Snider, and send it to eragon.reboot@gmail.com. Every fan’s voice counts!

Hi Christopher! On page 558 of Inheritance, when Eragon, Saphira, and Glaedr are in the vault of souls, there's a line that goes something like 'Eragon reached down and touched a gold and red egg, about 5 feet high' so, can dragons be multiple colours? Would the size of the egg when laid (5 vs 1 feet) affect the size of the hatchling inside? Will it continue to affect them their whole life, or would growth even out?

This is an aspiring writer distress call: How does one write a diabolical villain that isn't cliche?? That's probably a bit of a loaded question without context. I have ideas for a betrayal between characters that could make a great villain later, but I need an actual mastermind/group of baddies. The main plot point hinges on foul play going on behind the scenes. Any advice or books about writing villains? Thanks!
