As someone who loves physical books, but who missed the limited-edition Penric publication (and who prefers paperbacks whenever possible anyway-- they fit better when being carried everywhere) are we ever likely to see a collected set of the Penric novellas? (And will there be more? I'll admit, they're getting more and more "but what happens next?" as they continue. ;) Not that I'm complaining, Pen & Des rock.)

There may be a couple of collections in the future, but it will be the rather far future. Breath-holding is still contraindicated. This is my semi-retirement project, after all.
There might be more, maybe. Sometime. If and when there is, I will certainly tell y'all.
I admit, I'm finding my own Kindle easier to carry around, although I'm still terribly afraid I will drop/break/lose it somehow. Also, it's like having an instant bookstore/library in my purse. The expandable type for my eyes and light weight/lack of need to hold pinched open for my increasingly arthritic hands are also a plus.

Lois McMaster Bujold:
George Eliot wrote always with a sense of failure and doom. Nabokov was fully aware of his greatness. I think you must be somewhat aware. Not wishing for a response here, I’ll just say that talent at a certain level carries the obligation to write, especially if it’s not fading. We’re all at our full powers only so long, but some writers soar well into “retirement” years. I’m afraid you’re still on obligation status.?
