How do you get inspired to write?

Keith Hoare I think in some ways, for me, it's escapism, from the reality of real life. You are in control of a world, where you can direct lives, decide who succeeds, who lives or dies. Although soon, a touch of reality comes in. I gain affinity to certain characters, in a way protect them and not just the victims, often the perpetrators, I don't want to punish. Sometimes to a point I want to give them another chance, even though I'd created them and maybe in reality they deserve what I had in store for their demise. I suppose that's being human.
