I get ideas for books and stories bouncing around in my head and I write them down. Once in a while, I put one of the ideas together into a blog entry, article or book. Forum debates often give me ideas for political blogs and such. When I fix something around the house, I take pictures and write up how I did it for a how-to blog I write.
