There are many aspects of how characters behave that force you to go deep, and it's a lot of fun to see how they behave. Flawed characters are great to explore. However, the very best part would have to be finishing a book and knowing that all the hard work has paid off. The next best thing is the first paragraph at the beginning of the next book.
