Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Lonnie Ostrow I'm a lifelong music fan and was once an amateur songwriter. Upon digging up some of my old song notebooks after a decade in a drawer, I suddenly wondered what life might have been like had a pursued a career in music and became a popstar. This inspired the overall concept of Poet Of The Wrong Generation. Gradually I filled in the details of the characters who inspired the music, or played a hand in helping to make my protagonist a star, or tear him down from his lofty perch.
